Envy of the could-haves
Poem (20 – 8) – Envy of the could-haves
Suicide nets everywhere. Safe spaces lead to unsafe high places where the end meets pavement or at least the ground meets face plants, taught existence and continual resistance, but more needed is back bone and mental toughness, an ability to effect change in your life and requite your fears, silence selfish critiques and turn the good music on in your ears, let play your Go-Girl soundtrack or the Tigers eye, thats through the week, now play the weekend hits, now focus only on hearing what you put in your ears, you’ll soon have your own set of greatest hits to share. Walk back from the ledge, live through the fear, one day you’ll be the envy of the almost & could-haves everywhere.
